Three design drafts
Three drafts went up side by side, a broadsheet, an instrument panel and the floor, and a little script shot each of them the same way at phone and desktop width in both modes. With the floor's second pass, shot after the choice, that came to 207 PNGs in all. The floor won, and its second pass is the design this site is built on.
What it taught
Draft C won because it looked like what was asked for, a blend between a trading screen and a business dashboard.
